The Participatory Meeting to strengthen understanding and awareness

The Participatory Meeting to strengthen understanding and awareness for driving Phetchaburi province to be a member of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN)

The objective of this meeeting is to strengthen understanding and awareness on local level for driving Phetchaburi province to be one of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN). The meeting was held 3 times as below,

• 6 November 2020, at Royal Diamond hotel, Phetchburi province. There were the participants from Mueang Phetchaburi district, Khao Yoi district and Ban Laem district.
• 9 November 2020, at Tha Yang District Office. There were the participants from Tha Yang district, Ban Lat district and Cha-am district.
• 10 November 2020, at Kaeng Krachan District Office. There were the participants from Kaeng Krachan district, and Nong Ya Plong district.

The meeting had highly cooperated from the government and private agencies, local government organizations, civil society, and enterprises to share and exchange their ideas about promoting and driving our province together.   

We found that Phetchaburi province has the strengths which are the area, the strong communities, motivated people, and supporting and strengthening agencies. 

Overall, Phetchaburi is a vital city of authentic ingredient food.    Moreover, our cooperation from different stakeholders will drive us to reach the goal which is being the creative city.
